She came from New England, never to go back,
Carving out a new life in a rustic wooden shack;
Now she’s tough as a cactus in the Arizona heat,
Footprint light upon the earth, there’s not much that she needs.

It’s said her heart was broken many moons ago,
In grief she simply wandered, a lost and lonely soul,
